Mike Nattrass

Hello Everybody,
Welcome to my February & March Newsletter. As I compose this newsletter I am sitting in my study surrounded by packing cases. Yes! ‘The Leytons’ are getting ready for our pending house move. So life is currently a bit ‘stressful’ at this end as all of you who have moved house will appreciate. It never seems to get any easier. April 2010 marks my 50th Anniversary as a recording Artiste, although my first ‘official’ 45rpm single release was not until August of 1960. April also marks the first screening of the ‘Biggles’ TV series. So in many respects this year promises to be an interesting one from a personal point of view. It is my intention in future newsletters to take a trip down memory lane with a few personal memories of these ‘career’ shaping events.

Congratulations to Jet Harris MBE.
Jet Harris I would like to pass on my congratulations to Jet on being awarded an MBE. Jet and I go back many years and included in our plans for this year are Concerts with me, Jet and The Flames and at some of the Concerts we will be joined by with another good friend Mike Berry, who will be appearing as a special guest artiste. www.jetharris.biz

Gig Guide.
I would like to pass my thanks and those of The Flames to the many of you who braved the somewhat ‘Arctic’ conditions to attend our Concert on the 23rd December in Waltham Abbey. We enjoyed the event and hopefully you did too. February sees me and The Flames in Concert on 6th in Sweden and on 13th in Woodchurch, Nr. Ashford, Kent. On the 6th March The Flames and I will be joined by Jet Harris in Grays. On the 25th March The Flames and I will be in Skegness and on the 26th March in Biggleswade.
